Simply E's shop runs on Etsy for now, so every "Buy on Etsy" button takes you to the matching listing, where checkout is handled securely by Etsy. You'll get Etsy's order updates and Purchase Protection, and Eilidh sees your order straight away.

Etsy accepts PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Klarna and Etsy gift cards. Simply E never sees your card details.

Cancellations are accepted within 1 hour of purchase. Returns and exchanges aren't accepted, but if there's a problem with your order, please get in touch with Eilidh.

Delivery is free on all prints to UK addresses. Bridesmaid proposal cards are £1 UK postage. Printable downloads aren't posted, so there's nothing to pay.

A5 and A4 prints are posted flat in a cellophane wallet inside a hardback envelope. A3 prints are rolled and posted in a sturdy postal tube. Cards come in a plastic wallet inside a hardback envelope.

Etsy shows an estimated delivery date on every listing, based on your postcode. Personalised prints are posted once you've approved your proof, so reply to the proof email quickly if you need it by a certain date. Cards are dispatched within 1–3 working days by Royal Mail 2nd class.

Most prints come in A5 (148 × 210mm), A4 (210 × 297mm) and A3 (297 × 420mm). These are standard frame sizes, so they're easy to frame at home. Prices for each size are shown on every product page.

Prints are on 250gsm gloss photo paper for crisp black type. Bridesmaid cards are A6, on 300gsm Accent Fresco Gesso textured card with a white textured envelope.

No. Prints are sold unframed (the frames in the photos are for styling). Framed versions are available for local collection in Ayr: see Framing & local collection, or get in touch.

Yes. Prints come in black text as standard, but most designs can be done in another colour. Send a message before or after ordering with the colour you'd like.

Choose your size on Etsy and fill in the personalisation box with the details the listing asks for (names, dates, an address). Eilidh designs your print and emails a proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it, and small changes are no problem.

Yes. Eilidh welcomes custom ideas and bespoke designs, from a family saying to a one-off gift. Send the idea, the occasion, the size and your deadline through the bespoke enquiry form and she'll come back to you.

Lyrics and many modern quotes are protected by copyright, so Eilidh may suggest an alternative or ask you to credit the writer. Your own words, family sayings and older quotes in the public domain are always fine.

After payment is confirmed, Etsy gives you a high-resolution A3 file to download. Print it at home, at a local print shop or with an online printing service. It scales down neatly to A4 and A5. Nothing is posted and no frame is included.

Colours can vary slightly depending on your printer, paper and screen settings. The designs are mostly black on white, so they print reliably almost anywhere.

Framed versions are available to order directly from Eilidh for local collection in Ayr. Use the framing enquiry form with the design and size you'd like, and she'll confirm the details and price.

Yes. Wedding stationery is where Simply E started in 2018. Eilidh designs invitations, save the dates and on-the-day stationery for each couple. Tell her about your wedding through the wedding stationery form.

As early as you can, especially for save the dates. Mention your wedding date and when you'd like to send invitations, and Eilidh will tell you what's possible.
