Simply E is a print and stationery business run by Eilidh in Ayr, Scotland. This notice explains what personal information this website collects and how it's used, under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Contact: simplyeilidh@gmail.com.

Buying on Etsy

Purchases complete on Etsy. When you buy, Etsy collects your details and shares what's needed for your order (such as your name and address) with Simply E. That's covered by Etsy's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

What this website collects

  • Enquiries (bespoke, wedding, framing and contact forms): your name, email, optional phone number, what you tell us, and any images you attach. Used only to reply and to quote for your design. Lawful basis: your consent, and steps before a contract.
  • Newsletter: your email and optional first name, to send news of new designs and seasonal launches. Lawful basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • “Buy on Etsy” clicks: which product button was clicked and on which page. No personal information is stored.
  • Analytics: only if you accept statistics cookies. See the cookie policy.

Who helps run the site

Your information is stored and processed by these service providers on Simply E's behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database, London region), Cloudflare (file storage and spam protection) and Formspree (forwarding enquiries by email). If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics. Some providers are based in the US and use approved safeguards for international transfers.

How long it's kept

Enquiries and attached images are deleted 12 months after the last contact, unless they become an order. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, withdraw consent at any time, or object to how it's used: email simplyeilidh@gmail.com. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
